Portia de Rossi wants to wed lover Ellen Degeneres if gay marriages are legalised in the US.But the 'Ally McBeal' beauty insists comedienne Degeneres, who she has been romancing for almost a year, would have to propose to her first.She is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "I have to be asked. But I love the idea of marriage. I think it's beautiful. I'm such a romantic and I always have been."But the actress revealed she and talk show host Degeneres are happier than ever with their relationship - even if same sex marriages are not currently permitted.She said: "I'm happier than I ever thought I could be.
