Brad Pitt and George Clooney paid a college student $900 for a ride in his car.
The Hollywood heartthrobs were on their way to Manhattan but were left stranded when their plane was diverted to Syracuse in New York.
Undeterred, the hunky pair stopped a passing teenager and offered him a wad of cash if he would drive them the 250 miles to their destination.
A source revealed: "They found a college kid and paid him to drive them in his car. The kid was calling his mother from the car, he couldn't believe it."
The 'Ocean's Twelve' stars also promised the student a fully paid night in the swanky Mandarin Oriental hotel, according to a report in the New York Daily News.
Last month it was revealed Pitt and Clooney have invested in a Las Vegas casino complex.
The pair - who filmed 'Ocean's Eleven' in the Nevada city - have teamed up with Cindy Crawford's husband, Rande Gerber, to build the 25-acre resort, which will feature 4,400 hotel rooms and a 48,000-square-foot casino.
