Sheryl Crow has got engaged to legendary cyclist Lance Armstrong.The stunning singer and the seven-time Tour De France winner reportedly agreed to get married at the weekend but no details of the proposal have been released yet.A spokesman for Armstrong, who bravely overcame testicular cancer, has confirmed the engagement, and claims the couple are considering a spring wedding somewhere in the US.Crow, 43, first met Armstrong - who has three children from his first marriage - at a charity event in October 2003 and the pair have enjoyed an on-off relationship ever since.The singer, who has previously been romantically linked with Eric Clapton and actor Owen Wilson, is said to be thrilled with the engagement and can't wait to tie the knot.In July, Crow hinted she was to quit her rock career - to settle down and have children with Armstrong.Following Lance's triumphant seventh consecutive win in the Tour de France cycling race, the sexy star said the pair were looking forward to leading a quieter life at home.She revealed: "I'm longing to be a housewife and to start a family with Lance."Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
