Vartan fans not happy with Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner has become the target of a hate campaign by fans of her ex-lover Michael Vartan - after he was axed from her show 'Alias'.

The angry supporters believe hunky Vartan, who played Vaughn in the hit drama, was forced to leave because Jennifer felt "uncomfortable" working with him since she got together with her now-husband, Ben Affleck.

So after failing to save him from the axe, the fans have sent round a letter full of false allegations about the sexy actress, who dated Vartan for several months after splitting from first husband, Scott Foley.

According to America's New York Post newspaper, the memo wrongly claims Jennifer banned anyone on the 'Alias' set from mentioning Vartan's name and insisted everyone must be polite to Ben.

The letter also alleges cast and crew were ordered to applaud Jennifer at the end of every scene, but no one is allowed to speak to her or even look at her when she is going to her trailer.

However, an 'Alias' spokesperson has strenuously denied the letter's claims, saying: "This letter is so not true! All of this misinformation is being put out by Vartan's fans who are angry about what happened with his character.

"Ben has only been to the set twice in the past year, and, of course, people say Michael Vartan's name - they love him. Meanwhile, people do look at Jennifer and she doesn't mind."

Jennifer and Ben are currently expecting their first child together.
