Jennifer Aniston is "relieved" her marriage to Brad Pitt has been declared officially over, it has been claimed.
The estranged couple filed divorce papers at Los Angeles court on Monday (22.08.05) after both agreeing to a private settlement over their joint £200million fortune.
The divorce will be finalised on 2 October, but the papers do not reveal how Jennifer and Brad - who is now dating screen beauty Angelina Jolie - will divide their possessions, although it is believed the pair will divide the £7.8million raised from the sale of their Beverly Hills mansion.
According to a Hollywood source, Jennifer - who was married to the heartthrob star for four years - is delighted the pair's union is finally legally over, leaving her free to get on with the rest of her life.
The insider said: "Jennifer seems really relieved to have got the divorce out of the way and is looking forward to making a fresh start."
Yesterday (23.08.05), the former 'Friends' star seemed relaxed and happy as she was spotted playing Frisbee with 'Break-Up' co-star Vince Vaghn during a break in filming.
The pair - who are rumoured to be dating - playfully tossed the plastic toy and were later seen taking a romantic stroll walking hand-in-hand.
