Paris Hilton reveals Nicole Richie was not first choice for Simple Life

Paris Hilton has revealed ex-best friend Nicole Richie was not her first choice for reality TV show 'The Simple Life'.
The hotel heiress claims she only asked Nicole to co-star with her when her sister, Nicky, turned it down.
Paris - who is no longer speaking to Nicole - revealed: "Nicky was supposed to do the first series of 'Simple Life' but she said she didn't want to do a reality show.
"So I asked some friends and Nicole was like, 'I'll do it,' so I did it with her. Nicky was my first choice though."
Paris and Nicole are contractually obliged to shoot a fourth series of the show, despite their falling out.
But Paris says she would rather co-star with close pal Kimberly Stewart. She confessed to Britain's Cosmo Girl magazine: "It's my show. I brought Nicole on and we had a great first three seasons, but now I want to make it new and have someone else to be crazy with.
"Kimberly is hysterical. She has a great personality and she's blonde and beautiful. She's hot."
