Kylie Minogue is reportedly to marry her lover Olivier Martinez next year. The nuptials, to be held in Kylie's native Australia, will coincide with the completion of the singer's breast cancer treatment.
The smitten couple allegedly announced their secret engagement to Olivier's relatives and Kylie's mum Carol, when she recently visited her daughter in Paris, where Kylie is staying with the handsome actor.
A friend revealed: "Kylie and Olivier came to Paris with a secret announcement. They're getting married early next year in Oz. Since they're in Paris, they've told Olivier's family and friends the news in person."
The pair decided to get hitched after Kylie was told by doctors she will make a full recovery and, despite intense cancer treatment, would still be able to have children.
The source added to Britain's Grazia magazine: "Kylie wants the ceremony in her homeland after the New Year.
"The doctors are saying she'll be done with chemo by then, so she'll be ready for a fresh start - what better way to start the new year than with a new life as Mrs Olivier Martinez."
Kylie, recovering from her latest round of cancer treatment, and actor Olivier are now organising the ceremony while staying at the Biarritz holiday home of good friend and designer Karl Lagerfeld.
