Mickey Rourke sorts out displute over woman
Aug 12, 2005, 12:43 GMT
Mickey Rourke has handed back the girl he 'stole' from another man - claming she wasn't "worth the effort".
Earlier in the week, the Hollywood actor charmed his way into the affections of the pretty blonde, now revealed to be a Ukrainian model called Anna Ilnitskaya, at top London nightspot Boujis.
Rourke, 49, had approached the 20-year-old girl, inside the club right under the nose of her boyfriend, Andrei, and, after flirting with her, arranged to meet her outside the club at 1.30am for a "private party" before whisking her away to his lavish £1,200-a-night suite at the Dorchester hotel.
The 'Sin City' star's outrageous antics led to an ugly confrontation outside the club and security guards were forced to keep the two love rivals apart to prevent a brawl.
However, Rourke has now revealed snaring the stunning blonde was a waste of time and wishes he hadn't bothered.
He reportedly said of the encounter: "She wasn't worth the effort. Her boyfriend can have her back."
Rourke - whose handsome looks have been ravaged by botched plastic surgery and boxing - was seen in the company of another beauty on Wednesday night (10.08.05) as he enjoyed a second evening out in the capital.
The veteran star is currently in London shooting the big-screen adaptation of Anthony Horowitz's novel 'Stormbreaker at the legendary Pinewood Studios.
