Barton on birds and fans

Mischa Barton is scared of birds.
The 'O.C.' beauty revealed she was once chased by an emu and is also terrified of pigeons.
She revealed: "I am afraid of birds. I hate the way pigeons fly right at you. I also got chased by an emu, which is like a giant bird that doesn't fly, at a wildlife park in Australia once. I was so terrified I ran into the bathroom and locked the door."
Meanwhile, Mischa was left stunned when a besotted fan snuck into her dressing room - and proposed.
The screen beauty was taking a break on the set of her new movie 'The De Cameron', when the man appeared dressed as a crew member and told her he loved her.
Mischa told Britain's TV Hits magazine: "He told me he had spent all his money to come and see me and propose."
