Paris Hilton lost £2 million worth of pink diamonds at a party in Ibiza.
The 24-year-old Hilton Hotel heiress was having fun and dancing with friends in a villa near San Antonio when she lost the expensive jewellery.
Paris had been dressed in her usual glamorous attire and had borrowed a pair of diamond encrusted drop earrings from a family friend to complete the outfit.
But half way through the night the beautiful socialite realised the earrings were missing and caused chaos trying to find them.
One partygoer said: "Paris looked as glamorous as ever wearing a pair of gorgeous pink diamond earrings.
"But when she went to the bathroom she saw they had disappeared and must have fallen off when she was dancing. All of a sudden there were shrieks. Paris was inconsolable."
Armed guards stepped in to help distraught Paris and the party was cleared. Guests, including Jenson Button and Meg Mathews had to wait on a balcony outside while the guards searched the villa.
The gems were eventually found underneath the stand of a giant ice sculpture.
