Eminem still holds a torch for ex-wife Kim Mathers, friends have claimed.
Sources say the rap star is finding it difficult to start new relationships – because childhood sweetheart Kim is the only woman he can really trust.
A friend told America’s New York Post newspaper: “Em loves Kim — he has a hard time meeting other women because he always questions their motives. He knows Kim loved him before he was famous for who he really is."
Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, is said to fly home to see Kim and their daughter, Hailie, whenever he has a day off from his ‘Anger Management’ tour.
The friend revealed: "Every day he has a break from his tour, he flies home to be with Kim and his daughter, Hailie.”
Eminen has always had a tempestuous relationship with Kim, and has even slated her in several songs, including ‘Puke’.
He recently confessed he feared not finding love again, telling Vanity Fair magazine: "I've dated a few famous women and gone that route, thinking that would work, and they end up being crazier than I am.
"I can meet a girl through a friend, or if I went to a club. But the reason they are approaching me is because I'm Eminem. And I'll never be able to get over that insecurity - because I do have insecurities. I haven't had the greatest experience with women."
Eminem’s spokesperson declined to comment on claims he still loves his ex-wife.
