Renee Zellweger's marriage to Kenny Chesney is said to be in crisis - after
a string of arguments.
Friends say chances of the pair - who married after a whirlwind four month romance - making their first anniversary is virtually non existence.
The beautiful actress is reportedly worried Kenny is too controlling and has told pals they were "practically strangers" on their wedding day.
A source revealed: "Renee had never even see him lose his temper before the wedding, but now they're married he seems to think he can tell her what to do.
"He doesn't like her hanging out with friends and wants to get her away from L.A.
"When she tried to redecorate their new home in Connecticut he put his foot down and said it was too expensive and a waste of money."
The 'Bridget Jones' actress is now so worried about their failing romance she is begging Kenny to go to marriage counselling.
The friend added in an interview with Britain's Grazia magazine: "She just didn't realise how different they were until after the wedding. Renee is going to ask Kenny to try marriage counselling before throwing in the towel.
"If that doesn't work, she'll start divorce proceedings. She says she can't go on like this for much longer."

Whatever problems they are having (if any), I doubt her not wanting to leave LA is one of them.. seeing as she packed up her LA house and moved away from there BEFORE they were even married and made the decision to leave prior to even meeting him. lol I actually think it's more likely disgruntled Kenny Chesney folks than Renee 'friends' that are behind a lot of these rumors. JMO
And, honestly, what married couple doesn't fight? Doesn't mean they're headed for divorce. Although if they do divorce, I doubt it'll be Renee's choice, seeing as her benchmark for marriage is what her parents have and they've been together for like 40 years or something. Either way, they've both waited this long to get married, even if it doesn't last, I don't see them giving up this quickly. Of course, only two people really know what's going on, and they aren't interesting in talking. Can't say I blame them. Unhappy Kenny fans will just think it's just a lie or cover and he's really miserable. Unhappy Renee fans will think she just feels sorry for him and doesn't want a divorce because of her upbringing. And the media will say whatever they want to anyway. Silence is golden.

I'm a 12 year old girl who is in love with kenny now this is what i have to say about Renee...Renee is stupid... they new eachother for what 4 monthes and dated her for what 1 out of the 4 and then got married. I am so understanding with kenny chesney why he doesn't trust her... you all know what she likes too do... so why would he let her out of the house and let her do that shit give me a flippin break and if he let her re dercorate there house it would end it up looking like shit! so just think of it as kennys doing her a favor teaching he what she souldn't do!

i'm a kenny fan,and i just think that they are two different people and i'm glad that they figured out they wasn't meant to be together before children were born....and i hope his heart isn't to broken...if i was lucky enough to have kenny chesney love me i would be greedy with all of it...and hold on to him forever.

I am a Kenny fan myself, however, I am not going to come on here and say that there is no possible way that he could have contributed to this failing marriage (IF in fact it is failing). I think the root of the problem lies in two people that got excited about their emotions and allowed that to be a basis for them getting married, without getting to know each other first. As much as I would love to see Kenny remain a bachelor :), I really do hope that they are able to get things worked out. I've never been married, but I imagine divorce isn't fun for ANYONE. Ashley, you are a disgrace to Kenny fans. You should try to do a little bit of growing up before posting your childish views on a website for the entire world to see.

Kenny looks like a jerk, and apparently IS a jerk, becuase he lost the nicest sweetest girl in the world ...Renee deserves better than a stupid cowboy!

i think if had true friends in faith and tim they would have step up and told him to wait it out and date her for a while.
as for his mom and dad they should have too......i am sure he would like to find true love...............but not just from hello no one could know that they love someone .........it was all to fast!!!!!!!!!!!
i wish them both the best and if it is to be it will....................
