German supermodel Claudia Schiffer new face of Spanish chain

London - German supermodel Claudia Schiffer was unveiled Friday as the new face of Spain's leading fashion chain, Mango. The 34-year-old model, who has two children and is married to British film producer Matthew Vaughn, is the star of Mango's autumn and winter collection. She wore a Victorian-style lace blouse and jeans for the launch at the chain's flagship store in London's Oxford Street. Schiffer, who is modelling for leading French fashion houses, replaces Mick Jagger's daughter Elizabeth, 14 years her junior, as the face of the chain. A Mango spokeswoman said: "Claudia perfectly reflects the spirit of Mango - an attitude that is not subject to a specific age." © dpa - Deutsche Presse-Agentur
