What the #$%&, are people in Iowa retarded? I know let's elect a fiscally irresponsible war monger with absolutely no foreign policy experience and see if we can really run this country completely in the ground. Iowa you suck!!!!

I for one was very glad to see that Dr Paul finished well. Surely he would have done better if the other Republican candidates, the RNC, Fox News and all the other false conservative Rebublicrats hadn't done everything in their power to make him seem either invisible or insane. Now Fox News is even going so far as to eleminate him from their pre New Hampshire debate!

Yeah too right. Huckabee is a fiscal socialist. This was the republicans in Iowa voting; lets get this this straight there is a substantial Evangelical community there, perhaps one the largest. As the primaries move to the more traditional base Romney, McCain and perhaps even Paul will start to pull ahead.

Disappointing for Mitt Romney, but not surprising consider he had paid volunteers stuffing multiple ballots during the Ames Straw Poll. Huckabee is just scary; his slick talking empty rhetoric won't fly in NH where the voters pay more attention to a candidate's actual record. Respectable finish for a place Ron Paul spent little time personally campaigning. Thompson had to be the biggest surprise, although he still has no clear platform or philosophy that we can discern. If the election were decided by Iowa, I hope they would like having their schools and hospitals overloaded with non-taxpaying non English-speaking illegal immigrants, because that's profitable for the big corporate farms and meat operations there. Sorry, on a bit of a rant, but Arkansas Mike really scares the Huck (abee) out of me.

I will be putting my Florida absentee ballot in the mail for Dr. Paul. A large portion of my family will also be voting for Paul. More important than any single issue, we must begin to restore the proper role of the federal government in this country. National defense, common currency, international treaties! May GOD bless THESE United States of America.

Good for Huckabee today, but he will falter quickly. Romney was the big dissapointment and Paul the big surprise. I think its hard to call 10% the 'fringe' 'nutcases' especially for a guy campaigning against farm subsidies in Iowa!!!
