Boston funnyman Dane Cook’s latest "Rough Around the Edges - Live From Madison Square Garden," is a full-length album with an accompanying DVD which showcases his very funny new stand-up set recorded in front of tens of thousands of his screaming fans at the main arena of Madison Square Garden.
“I swear on my unborn child’s life,” Cook tails off, regretting the overselling of his innocence over a missing pint of ice cream to his enraged roommate.

TiVo woes, f*ckable mannequins and a fantasy Halle Berry-breasted Pegasus dragonwoman occupy the mind of Cook.
“Sometimes, I feel like I know people,” mocks Cook, sharing that a clairvoyant told him of his Union soldier past life, and a stint as an Egyptian Pharaoh too.
“I believe I won the Civil War personally,” says Cook to an imaginary HR person, reciting his impressive past life resume.
Old tin type pictures get it too. “Everybody is making the same face..okay everybody.. .look stoic and creepy," directs Cook to his imaginary assembled old timey subjects. “Do you think everybody gathered looked afterwards, and that Johnson..he smiled…he even looks happy to be alive...dammit”

Commercials for kids in need works Cook up too. “Some Burl Ives guy…this is Magoogoo…a good little tyke…for 15 cents you can fix his cleft lip and send him to Oxford.”
Oprah gets the Cook treatment too.
“Everybody here gets a schooooooooool!” says “Oprah.” “Everybody here gets a humpback whaaaaale.”
"Rough Around the Edges" comes out on the heels of his two successful platinum-selling albums "Retaliation" and "Harmful if Swallowed."
The CD/DVD drops in stores nationwide on Tuesday, November 13 and will also be available at www.shop.comedycentral.com.
Frenetic Cook straddles being a successful stand-up while making his mark as an actor. In 2007, Cook starred in his first leading role as Zack in "Employee of the Month."
He signed a multi-faceted production deal with HBO last year, he created, directed and starred in the network's nine- part comedy documentary series, "Tourgasm" and wrote, executive-produced and starred in "Vicious Circle."
Most recently, Cook was cast in the romantic comedy "Good Luck Chuck" with Jessica Alba and in the thriller, "Mr. Brooks" with Kevin Costner and William Hurt.
Last year Cook hosted the season premiere of "Saturday Night Live" and Time Magazine listed him as one of the world's 100 "Most Influential People."
He has appeared multiple times on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "The Tonight Show."
COMEDY CENTRAL, the only all-comedy network, currently is seen in more than 91 million homes nationwide.

Yeah its only 15 freakin cents who the heck do they think they are?
Yeah, for a minute there I thought I had already boght the CD/DVD and was watching it in closed captoining. Maybe this butt wipe is practicing being a court stenographer and just decided to put up the transcript of the DVD. Fire this guy!
Dane Cook is probably the best reason not to equate MySpace stardom with actual stardom. He is perhaps best known as a “comedian” that steals jokes from other comedians, then goes out of his way to make them unfunny. Dane Cook’s greatest artistic contribution so far has been to introduce a new way to flip people off to his fellow frat boy douchebags that constitute his fan base. Despite the fact that not one of his movies has been successful, he continues to star in highly publicized flops. Dane Cook’s cockiness and general visibility paired with his alarming lack of talent earn him the top spot in our list of annoying celebrity douchebags.
