Robinson first broke in Mike Figgis' 2000 feature film, "Time Code." In 2001 she became a series regular as 'Yves Adele Harlow' (an anagram for Lee Harvey Oswald), in Chris Carter's Fox drama, "The Lone Gunmen" - the "X-Files" spin-off.
Her star was on the rise once again in 2004 as she was cast with Viggo Mortensen and Omar Sharif in Disney's $80 million Western "Hidalgo", directed by Joe Johnston, the story of long-distance endurance horse rider, Frank T. Hopkins.
Robinson appeared in "The Merchant of Venice" as Al Pacino's daughter in Michael Radford's film.

Her performance as Titus Pullo's love interest Gaia who betrayed him by killing his wife, Eirene, dazzled audiences in HBO's critic darling, "Rome." Her scenes were electric with actor Ray Stevenson, who was cast as Pullo and Kevin McKidd who played Lucius Vorenus.

Director Mira Nair cast Zuleikha as the first-generation Bengali Indian-American wife for Kal Penn's Gogol character in "The Namesake."
The Fox Searchlight film is a beautiful study of loss, lonliness and love, and was based on the best-selling novel, by Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Jhumpa Lahiri. It is a wonderful and deeply moving film.
The DVD will be on sale November 27 from Fox Home Entertainment in the US. Make sure not to miss this one.
The most recent project for Robinson is the Fox television series, "New Amsterdam" - a story of a New York homicide detective who is brilliant, mysterious, reckless, magnetic, unknowable - and immortal.
In 1642, Amsterdam (Nikolaj Coster Waldau, then a Dutch solider in the colony of New Amsterdam – later to become New York City – stepped in front of a sword to save the life of a Native Indian girl during a massacre of her tribe.
Cut to modern times, Amsterdam today is one of the NYPD’s best homicide detectives, sparring with his vibrant, strong-willed partner Eva Marquez played by Zuleikha Robinson, as they solve difficult murder cases. The series is directed by Lasse Hallström.
