Mitt Romney is throwing money around like it's nothing, paying for his 'volunteers' and throwing his money out to buy votes.
And the focus is on the fact that some of that money won't buy what he wants?
How does he expect to spend our tax dollars in DC to get what he wants?
No one's voting for this Libertarian. Run under what you really are. You have a lot of good ideas but when you agree with Hillary Clinton, Barack Ohbama, Ted Kennedy, and the moveon.org's of the world when it comes to the country's defense you don't belong in the Republican primary.
Bored is right. Here is a candidate willing to open up on a number of controversial issues. That will always bring in the folks who are more than a little tired of the same old losing arguments. Not that its a winning strategy for Mr Paul, but its salutory for the process as a whole
Both political parties have failed the American people by placing their respected party concerns above that of the greater national interest. Ron Paul is resonating with mainstream Americans who are the bread and butter of the county and who have been disenfranchised by politics as usual and by a media that has and still does steer public opinion in a manner suited to their wishes. It is evident today that the bulk of Washington politics as well as media interest are now the, 'fringe' as neither represent the view of the majority of Americans. Ron Paul is no savior, he is no prophet of some unknown truth, but he is the one candidate from all of the Presidential candidates that is placing the good of the nation and its people, before the interest of greed and politics as usual.
People need to understand, Ron Paul is a REPUBLICAN! A traditional republican. Small government, sound money, constitutional values. Why does everyone link him anything but a republican? He's been a republican since the 1970s, when Reagen even endorsed him and Paul was one of 4 who endorsed Reagen for president. So please, research what a republican is, a traditional one.
dear mr paul I think we the tax payers are taxed enough I think getting rid of income tax is a good thing. I hope that if you make it to the ballot I will vote for you I think it is a shame that my husband who served 20plus years in the army have a tax on his retired check they have more than paid their dues to their nation. how much more do thy want? Maybe a pint of blood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you judith Fort dodge Iowa
Yes Mr BrentBurk - I remember. When 'conservative' didn't mean 'right-wing-radical'. When the Republican party was big tent, and it was even possible to be small-caps progressive on issues like defense and highways. There was more room for people like Ron Paul then. Too bad it looks radical to folks who never have seen midamerican grassroots republicanism - from people who solve real problems on the state and local levels.
I worry we may be a little too far gone...like the movie Idiocracy. Dr. Ron Paul continues to argue his case clearly and logically and passionately and is greeted only by simple minded criticisms.
1. > tax rates do not always = > tax revenue
2. Look at Dr. Paul's voting record. He is the leading advocate for FREEDOM in our nation's capital.
3. The primary reason why we are so lucky to be the half of the world's population with daily access to sanitary drinking water is because we have been granted the FREEDOM to make our lives better.
A VOTE FOR ALMOST ANY ONE BESIDES DR. PAUL IS A VOTE FOR INCREASED GOVERNMENT OPPRESSION FOLLOWED BY DECREASED STANDARDS OF LIVING FOR ALL.
IT IS SIMPLE LOGIC AND MATHEMATICS IF YOU TAKE THE TIME AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
Ron Paul has been an elected Republican for over 20 years. In 1976 he was one of only 4 elected officials that backed Ronald Reagan for President. He is among only a handful of Republicans to still be around for that long. Its soooo much harder for a US Rep to stay in office that long versus say a Senator who only has to be relected every 6 years.
Ron Paul's stands on issues are very classic conservative Republic.
You really need to do some research before you make such comments
The fact is people are tired of the lies, Tired of the fearmongering, and tired of the taxes. The bush administration has givin republican True republicans a bad name and i belive he did it on purpose. Knowing that his true rulers the bankers wanted a socialist regime in the white house what better way to make that happen than to destroy your biggest threat True Republicans. Nothing Bush has done is conservitive nothing he has done is respectfull of republican values. Dr. Paul is Americas voice saying we are tired of it.
Doesn't matter because neither a Republican nor a Democrat will win in the genral election because they are both corrupt parties that no longer serve thr will of the people. They serve their own special interests only and not us we the people. It will be an Independent canidate who will win and become the next President!
Ron Paul is neolithic on Abortion rights. Too bad he's so hardcore on this. Not gonna get very many women to vote for him. He's good on everything else, except maybe the one about deporting all illegal aliens. There goes the Mexican vote, and with it, the Southwest. He HAS appeal, but he's wasting it all by adhering to these rather passe' policies.
'Neo-conservative' means 'new conservative'...not a new type, but a person newly converted. The neo-cons were big government liberals who had a philosophical change to their perceived 'family values'...but being big-government types, they wanted to use big government to push what they perceive as a Conservative agenda. True Conservatives (Barry Goldwater, Ronal Reagan, Thomas Jefferson) are for small government; the neo-cons are just big government liberals converted to a false big government 'conservatism'.
Vote RON PAUL and take the Republican Party back from the Neo-Cons!
ron paul doesn't have a chance...the voting machines are rigged.
ron paul would probably have 90% of the vote...diebold machines need to go and only paper hand count
the illuminati control the game..it's time to end their control
the illuminati control this government...the current government is a secret government and is tyrannical!
vote democrat or republican they're all the same - illuminati!
you fools actually think voting for someone like obama is gonna make a difference.
the only way things will change is for americans to rise up and get rid of 100% of current government (congress, justices, etc.etc..)- the whole system is full of corrupt traitors!
billyK, wake up. Ron Paul does not base his positions on current trends or public opinion, he follows the Constitution, the supreme law of the United States. Perhaps you have heard of it, CheneyBush have been bent on destroying it over the last few years. The only way to undo the damage done to our Republic is to elect someone exactly like Dr. Paul, who will overturn all the unconstitutional laws passed in the last 7 years. He will restore individual liberty for OUR CITIZENS as the # 1 driving force behind US policy, and do away with the policies of fear being spread by the neo-cons. The immigration issue is consistent with his other views...what part of 'illegal' in 'illegal immigrants' do you not understand?
As a lifelong independent who has never voted republican, and voted democrat a few times, I will change my registration to vote for Ron Paul.
He makes sense for America after all this madness
Both political parties are completely corrupted by globalist, Straussian
marxist ideals. They each put out a different front, but, there is not
any difference in their 'end run agenda'. Any polititian using the evil
word 'Democracy' instead of 'Republic' either does not know History, or,
has a different agenda. America is a 'Constitutional Republic'. What does
it say in the Pledge of Alligence, 'and to the Democracy for which it..'
or 'and to the Republic for which it stands'? Dr.Ron Paul is a Constitu-tionalist of the highest order. He will never support anything that is
not Constitutional. Is there anyone like him in any of the 'twin' parties? NO! Will 'THEY' allow him to win the Presidency even if he got
the majority vote? NO! A dilema indeed.
I've never voted Republican before but I'm voting for Paul if he has even a prayer of being elected.
to please be serious...
If you had half a brain and researched congressman Paul, you would see that he is the ONLY truse Republican candidate running.. 1st he does not agree with any of the commie /socialists you mentioned?? NOT EVEN CLOSE! WHERE YOU CAME UP WITH THAT IS MINDBOGGLING! what you need to do sir is read the constitution.. you know that peice of paper which limits government power over the people of the country.. the one that evidently you have NEVER read! and if your your honest with yourself you will see where this man, Ron Paul, is a true stateist and not a politician. So if you want to keep paying 50% of your income to a corrupt political system, want unborn babies to keep being killed, put the lives of our troops in harms way over lies, and just love that patriot act and watch our constitution go to nothing you go ahead and vote for the establishment republican whore.. there is not spits worth of difference between the republican party and the democratic party. they are both corrupt and what this country needs men who are not laywers or bankers running things.. we need people who will follow the constitution to the letter no questions asked! you and others like you need to be honest with yourselves and ask if what Ron Paul stands for is right! in the end if you yourself is honest you would be voting for him... that is if your HONEST!
