Ron Paul is a rare candidate that has backbone not strings. I am sure the establishment will do whatever they can to discredit him before this race is over. They will have to because of his support.

Ron has the most support and yet all you hear is Romney and Guilani and Cain. Ron even has more money than Cain but you see the established, controlled media doing what they can to usher him to behind the scenes as fast as they can.

Before it all over, the media will do their dirty tricks to defeat him. Hopefully, their dwindling influence in America will continue to dwindle.
Hopefully, Americans will start to awake to what is really going on.

Paul for 2008Aug 6th, 2007 - 05:41:05

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

There's a confounding turnabout going on here: traditionally, it's been the 'fringe' candidates that have been relegated to running campaigns based on fear and hatred, right from Ross 'giant sucking sound' Perot back to 'ol Silvertooth himself, William Jennings Bryan.

Fear and hatred was a game that Hitler may have played well, but it's never played well in the US, at least not amongst 'men of respect'. In the depths of WWII, the US re-elected an elegant man in a wheelchair, because he had hope. In the depths of the cold war, they elected a man whose approach to crises was to go off golfing.

And so the turnabout this time is, all the 'top-tier' candidates are the ones hell bent on destruction and fear. They've abandoned 'hope', and left this space wide open for someone like Ron Paul to walk in.

It's not an unprecedented open goal: Goldwater and Teddy Roosevelt (as an independent) ran over much the same ground. But it's fertile ground, and neither Goldwater nor TR were running in a race with such high stakes. And neither of them were faced with such nihilistic opponents. (using 'nihilist' in the strict sense in which nothing, neither Constitution, Geneva Convention, nor general decency, stands in the way of achieving your goals.)

It's an astonishing transition, one without parallel in US history: the elite promise nothing but endless war, and doom if their prescriptions are not followed. And only one man says that they're absolutely wrong.

Ron Paul supporters are amazing at spamming yards and street corners and bumpers and clothing...they must have some intense computer software programs. Because everywhere I go I see RP supporters. I'd like to get a hold of this software and grow my business.

SP4: Ron Pauls REAL RecordAug 6th, 2007 - 22:50:48

Ron Paul has done earmarks for his pet district just like every other fat cat congressman.
The most recent are the shrimp fishing and shrimp research earmarks worth millions of dollars.

The libnazi press is softballing this guy, for his stance on the war.

I like how I had to go to google to find the results of ABC news poll of the GOP debate. It isn't possible to find the results on ABC. I guess they don't like the fact that Ron Paul got 1/2 the votes.

Ron Paul is causing people to raise questions, think,
and actually feel good again about voting for someone
they actually like, as opposed to choosing the lesser of
the two evils. He is a voice. He is causing people to sit up and
take notice. He is a chance. He is America's chance to make
things right and perhaps patch up the mess we have made and
hopefully cause blowback to decrease and ease some tension in
the middle east. RON PAUL 2008. Be a part of it.

I don't care if you are Republican, Democrat, Green, Blue or Purple if you believe in having a candidate and President of the U.S. who believes in truly upholding their Oath of Office -- then the only one to vote for in Congressman Ron Paul from Texas. He always carries a pocket Constitution and never votes for any legislation that does not adhere to that U.S. Constitution that he took an oath and made a covenant to uphold.
He stands for Limited Government and Individual Rights. Anyone who does not believe in the above should stop waving the flag!
