Yes the democrats said that. And they will make an issue of it because of how republicans treated Clinton in the White House. And this is an issue.

I'm not a democrat, but I support Ron Paul. Fred Thompson is a lobbyist, inconsistent in his record, and acted as a mole for the Nixon Whitehouse. If I wanted a liberal in office, I will explicitly vote for one when the general election comes, because dammit, I will not be tricked by the Republican's neo-cons again.

Isn't a 'trophy wife' a gold-digging model in her early 20's/late teens? This woman is 40, has a successful career, and doesn't need to dig for anything, she can make it on her own. Once you hit about 30, you're completely matured, the number just doesn't matter anymore, why are people so up in arms about her? Don't think an intelligent, pretty woman could love that ogre? Did I just call him an ogre? He IS kinda gross, it's gotta be real love, not a trophy marriage.
