Herd of wild boars mown down in Slovak traffic accident
Aug 24, 2010, 12:32 GMT
Bratislava - A truck ploughed into a herd of wild boar, killing 23 of them, Slovak media reported Tuesday.
The overnight crash took place on the highway connecting the regional capitals of Trnava and Nitra.
Carcasses and remains of the boars closed the E571 road for several hours, but the driver of the truck was uninjured, a fire department spokesman, Ivan Petko, told German press agency dpa.
