High-speed train delayed after man gets arm stuck in toilet

Paris - A high-speed TGV train en route to Paris was delayed for over two hours after a passenger got his arm stuck in the toilet, France Info radio reported on Monday. The 26-year-old man found himself in this embarrassing - and painful - position after inadvertently dropping his cellphone into the commode. When he tried to retrieve the device, he found himself trapped by the john's suction action. According to witnesses, both the victim and the potty had to be removed from the train on a stretcher so that he could be freed by firefighters. The hapless passenger survived the incident, which occurred late Sunday, with a painful elbow, but nothing was broken, his rescuers said.
