Employee charged with woman's slaying at Lil' Kim soiree

New York - An employee has been charged in the slaying of a woman at a birthday party for the rapper Lil' Kim on Sunday, The New York Times reported Thursday. 05/27/2008 - Lil' Kim -

Police said that Sayed attacked her because she refused his advances. Her body was discovered Wednesday in a closet on the roof of the club. The incident was another brush with controversy for Lil' Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, and who served almost 10 months in jail in 2006 for lying about a shootout outside a hip-hop radio station in Manhattan.
