Pope's exorcist squads organized for war on Satan

Pope Benedict has unveiled plans to set up specialist exorcism squads to combat Satanism.
The Daily Mail reports that the Vatican powers are concerned at what they see as an increased interest in the occult. They have introduced courses for priests to combat what they call the most extreme form of "Godlessness."
Each bishop is to be told to have in his diocese a number of priests trained to fight demonic possession a la "The Exorcist."
The initiative was revealed by 82-year-old Father Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican "exorcistinchief," to the online Catholic news service Petrus.
"Thanks be to God, we have a Pope who has decided to fight the Devil head-on," he said.
"Too many bishops are not taking this seriously and are not delegating their priests in the fight against the Devil. You have to hunt high and low for a properly trained exorcist.
"Thankfully, Benedict XVI believes in the existence and danger of evil - going back to the time he was in charge of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith."
The CDF is the oldest Vatican department and was headed by Benedict from 1982, when he was Cardinal Ratzinger, until he became Pope in 2005.
Allegedly the Pope wants to restore a protective prayer against evil that was traditionally recited at the end of Catholic Masses.
The prayer, to St Michael the Archangel, was dropped in the 1960s by Pope John XXIII.
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,

The Daily Mail proclaims that the Pope wants exorcism squads in every parish
"The prayer is useful not only for priests but also for lay people in helping to fight demons," he said.
Father Paolo Scarafoni, who lectures on the Vatican's exorcism course, said interest in Satanism and the occult has grown as people lost faith with the church.
He added: "People suffer and think that turning to the Devil can help solve their problems. We are being bombarded by requests for exorcisms."
The Vatican is particularly concerned that young people are being exposed to the influence of Satanic sects through rock music and the Internet.
The rite of exorcism involves a series of gestures and prayers to invoke the power of God and stop the "demon" influencing its victim.

The true devil is organized religion and the zealous hatred it breeds. Things were going along just fine until christianity came along with the crusades and murdered everybody who wouldn't bow down to them. You know what they say about the accuser being the guilty party, not the accused don't you? They're the evil ones, and the Pope knows it, that's why he's attacking everybody who doesn't follow him. He's over-reacting to his own guilt and pointing the finger at innocent people. What's next? Let's go back to killing the non-christians?

At least take a history class before you demean the religion of nearly a third of the world (half if you count the non-Catholics, and 95% or so if you count anyone religious).
Everything wasn't 'just fine' before the crusades. For the preceding 700 years, in fact, people thought the world was ending as the Roman Empire collapsed (see 'City of God' by St. Augustine) to various 'barbarian' invasions, and Europe remodeled itself out of chaos. From a purely secular and even Machiavellian standpoint, the crusades helped stop Europe from killing itself in bursts of feudalism, giving knights someone ELSE to go war against. Oh, yes, the Seljuk Turks had a fancy for marauding about south-eastern Europe, and Spain was becoming more and more heavily Arabic under the Cordoban Caliphate, bringing war to western Europe. So, please, read a history book before you bemoan the church for the Crusades. The church for most its history has been an instrument of peace and comfort to billions, and your careless remarks offend not only myself but countless others. For a lefty, you aren't very concerned with being rancidly offensive.
One other thing, if you're going to spread hate and lies, be man enough to use your name, instead of hiding behind some question marks.
PS: From personal experience, I would strongly advise you to revise your opinions on the matter of demons and faith. Strongly.
Please excuse me, however the age of believing in this voodoo mess is over.
You will realize plenty of people have been taxed, beaten, robbed, taken as slaves, tortured, and killed because they believed that the earth was round and not flat, the earth revolves around the sun and not the sun around the earth, that we are all made up of atoms, that the bible is not the infallible word of God, among thousands of other things that the Christian church disagreed with at the time.
I suggest everyone read Christopher Hitchen's book: god is not great.
So go ahead and waste all your time and money with these corrupt organizations. All organized religions are man-made, misguided, and should be stopped before anyone else suffers due to their *faith*.

speaking of Occult symbols if the pope is serious maybee he should tear down that eygptian occult symbol that is in front of every city state that the illuminati own. just google vatican city state occult egyptian symbol and click the images and you will see the three city states with occult symbols in front of them. so if the pope is serious then he will tear down that occult egyptian symbol in front of vatican city??

The church has commited many crimes and sins, BUT since the clergymen are human, they face the same hardships as ANY human, and are readilly available victims of satan 's influence JUST like any other human. Let us please put aside this FACT, after all it 's long gone history... Please listen to what i have to say and for non-believers, or occultists themselves, i beg you to try and understand...
It is a fact that nowadays the so-called 'occult sciences' trully thrive, masterfully promoted through shadowy fraternities or esoteric societies (names ommited for certain reasons); a practitioner of magic today can be your average, SEEMINGLY ordinary man or woman, perfectly hidden under the veil of atheist, neo-pagan or any fake label they choose. They can be your friends, people you spend time with etc... I will not bother you with more analysis, those who know, do know, and those who do not know, it 's at their best interests to never know about this at all.
My personal experience; some people i befriended 4 years ago, were dealing with demonic evocation and talismans (keys of solomon), but i had no idea about that at that time, and back then i was against all religions and considered them false and bad for human (pretty close to what you would call an atheist?). They experimented many of harmfull a spells on me, making me suffer a lot (won 't bother with details, those who know about spells, curses and hexes know what symptoms spells can cause); i was on the verge of paranoia mentally and at that time i did not know what hit me. At the end of the story, i accidentally came upon their books but as it was natural, their titles didn 't mean anything to me (back then) (will ommit them too for certain reasons too). When i googled them, 2 years ago, i was dumbstruck; returned to the church, confessed, attended mass and had the priest read me some prayers, but refused to initiate an exorcism prayer or ritual. 3 Days passed, i literally became another man (recovered both mentally and physically) and the poor priest... died.
The church, especially the Catholic, has slowly and steadily stopped believing into demons and the devil 's existence and works, but many people suffer daily of this. It is magnificent that faith returns, and some priests will be out there, able and willing to perform exorcisms. I am NOT catholic, but their initiative is to be both praised and rewarded. With tears in the eyes, i wish them good luck on their difficult work; if only they could be THERE, wherever and whenever an innocent soul suffers, not because of the demons, but of their human vessels and minions. For there is no worse evil than man becoming a vessel or minion of the demons with his own free choice and the intention to harm others (curses, hexes, death spells) and steal from the others their own free will (charm spell, love spell, mind tampering)...
