Austrian burglars find 8 severed heads at scene of their crime

VIENNA - Ach du lieber! Burglars up to no good got a little karmic payback when they foraged in a basement and found eight severed human heads while breaking and entering into an apartment building, according to Austrian police..
Allegedly a dentist had stored the mummified heads, which he used for research, in a chest in the basement. Burglars happened upon the collection when they broke in, police said.
"The burglars were looking for loot when they discovered the heads," said a spokeswoman for Austrian police. "From what it looks like, they just left them lying and bolted away."
