The Emmys have come and gone.  Noticeably not there or included was the brilliant FX show 'Sons of Anarchy.' Happy to see the HBO effort 'Grey Gardens' get recognized for excellence.  Also very happy to report the brilliant actress Toni Collette took the win for Best Actress in a comedy for Showtime.  Bryan Cranston winning for AMC's amazing series 'Breaking Bad' made my night. ... more

Trevor Nunn will direct Glenn Close in Stephen Soundheim's A Little Night Music due to hit Broadway in 2006. The show first opened in 1973 and is based on Ingmar Bergman's film Smiles of a Summer Night about a group of lovers whose lives come together during a weekend at a country estate, and includes one of Soundheim's most popular songs, 'Send In the Clowns.' Glenn Close has appeared in Sunset Boulevard, Death and the Maiden, and The Real Thing, and one Tonys for all three.                  source ... more
