We (a party of 4) went to eat at WP's American Grill Restaurant in the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. It was the most disappointing & annoying
experience. It was on a Monday night, not a holiday, & it was bad from the beginning to the end. The hostess's kept us & others waiting even though there were several empty tables. We were not offered any reason or
comments. After 25 minutes we were sat at one of these empty tables. Our
waiter did not take our order for quite a long time. We ordered 2 soups,
the exact same kind, & only received 1. We requested the 2nd soup four
different times before it came out 20 minutes later! Our entrees also came out 2 at a time, & we waited 30 minutes for them. Many people around
us were waiting even longer, some waiting 1 HOUR! The manager on duty was
simply going around to several tables listening to complaints & appoligizing. It was a terrible dining experience & everyone around us
was saying they would never go back, echoing our feelings. We were
unhappy with the front of the house & back of the house service and find
it hard to beleive that no one higher up in Wolfgangs organization is
aware of this situation. They should be, & should do something to
correct all these problems.
