Wanda Sykes
American comedian, writer and actress Wanda Sykes was born March 7th, 1964 in Portsmouth, Virginia.
As a television actress she is probably best known for playing the role of Barb in CBS' comedy series 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' and for appearing in several episodes of HBO's popular comedy show 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'.
In 1999 she was awarded with an Emmy for her comedy writing on 'The Chris Rock Show'.
Near the end of 2009 she began hosting her own television show on Fox titled 'The Wanda Sykes Show'.
