The Saw series comes to an end with this final entry (or so it is billed).  This time around they added 3D ballyhoo to Jigsaw and his gruesome traps.  However, this seventh entry started to show the seams in the long running torture trip.

Jigsaw just keeps going and going.  Even being dead hasn’t kept the serial killer from plying his trade.  After the misstep of Saw V, we get a little more on the right, bloody track.  Even more odd is that the film tries to be a message film cloaked in blood and gore.   ... more

The tagline on front of this 2-disc unrated director's cut Blu-ray reads 'You won't believe how it ends'. I'm thinking a more apt slogan would be 'You won't believe how it will never end'. It's a 'Saw' film ladies and gentleman, is a review even necessary? ... more

The Saw franchise soldiers on, even though Jigsaw has shuffled off his mortal coil.  As usual they throw in a last minute twist and some gore, but it seems to not be as inventive as what has some before.  I pity the fool that steps into this film without having seen the other ones though.   ... more
