Lee Evans

English comedian and actor Lee Evans was born February 25th, 1964 in Avonmouth, Bristol, England.
Lee Evans is a regular on the UK comedy circuit, selling out stadiums and arenas across the country wherever he goes.
As an actor he is perhaps best known for his roles as Fog in "The Fifth Element" (1997), Lars Smutz in "Mousehunt" (1997) and Tucker in "Theres Something About Mary" (1998).
Recently Lee has starred in an episode of BBC's "Doctor Who" and as the title character in a BBC version of H. G. Wells' "The History of Mr. Polly".

The London Production of The Producers opens today at Drury Lane, Theatre Royal. The production is directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman. The musical stars Lee Evans as Leo Bloom and Nathan Lane as Max Bialystock. Lane originated the role on Broadway and won the Tony for his work. He took over the role from Richard Dreyfuss nine days before opening night. Rounding out the cast is Leigh Zimmerman as Ulla, Nicolas Colicos as Franz Liebkind and James Dreyfus as Carmen Ghia.
