American musician, composer and music producer Jeff Wayne was born July 1st, 1943 in Forest Hills, Queens, New York.

Jeff Wayne is best known for composing and producing the hugely successful 1979 album 'Musical version of The War of the Worlds'. The album sold over 13 million copies worldwide and featured artists such as Richard Burton, Justin Haywood, and David Essex. In 2006 he took the show to the live Arenas for the first time in a sell out UK tour.
