Jean-Luc Godard Biography

French film director and writer Jean-Luc Godard was born December 3rd, 1930 in Paris, France.

The film maker is best known for being an instrumental figure in the Nouvelle Vague or "French New Wave" cinema. His films in the 1960's have inspired generations of film makers including Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese and Steven Soderbergh.
