Production is heating up on the Stephen King novella, 'The Mist' adapted for the screen by Frank Darabont, who is also directing the film. Joe Carnahan leaving Mission Impossible 3 put the movie in a state of limbo, or so you would think. But screenwriter, Frank Darabont is not so concerned. He spoke tp Empire Online.
'This is going into a very character-driven and gritty — much grittier than the first two — kind of place. Dealing in a more immediately graspable and relevant reality, globally speaking. It's much more in line with certain things that are going on in the headlines and if I said any more than that I think Tom might have me killed.'

The WEN news agency is reporting that the new Indiana Jones movie may not be released for another couple of years, because producer George Lucas is not happy with the ending. It seems although Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg wer happy witht he Frank Darabont screenplay, Lucas was not.
He apparantly wants more action and a livlier ending.
The film was due to start shooting this year but looks like it will not see the screens until 2006.
