Hi Im Russell Derby of Spokane, WA and I wanted to say that im happy for u. I, myself, are also gay and it took a lot of courage to show yourself. Even thought that was along time a go but I just wanted to say that. With me I've told all of my friends, most of my teachers, and family members and im still telling others that I am gay. Im also 11th grade so its still tough to say that im gay. I just wanted to say that im happy for u and that I just wanted u to know about me. this my grandmas computer so if u ever want to speak to me my homephone is (509) 467-3947 so see ya
Esera,
I have just finished your book. Wonderful and thank you. I too have been in a relationship with a man for 17 faithful years. We were legally married 3 years ago. Your book was wonderful and I must thank you for your courage and candor. My husband is still very much in the closet, at work and with his family. I am somewhat of a secret - have been for 17 years. He is coming around (slowing). Your book has helped as I am sharing it with him in the hopes that he gain some support and insiration.
God bless you,
Tony

Hi Esera. This Oli from Fairfield Suisun United Church of Christ. Pastor Jerry DeJong was kind enough to have you speak and sing at our church. You touch my heart with your passion about God and life. I just wanted to let you know, that you will always be in our hearts here in California. We are having a 1 year anniversary on Sunday January 18, 2009 for the passing of our dear Pastor Jerry. Do you have time to send me something from you to read at this ceremony? If so, please email me @ oliviat@fsusd.k12.ca.us. I will end now and hope to hear from you soon. In Gods Big Love our love to you and yours.

Read your book a couple of years ago and your story was very moving. It's a shame that in sports people still feel they have to hide to they are. I'm straight, but if an actor, singer, sports athlete I've heard of is gay, it made no difference to me.
Wish you continued success, and hope that you find true love again.
