Erykah Badu
American musician and actress Erykah Badu was born February 26th, 1971 in Dallas, Texas.
She is probably most well known for her role in the rise of the neo soul
sub-genre, and for her eccentric, cerebral musical stylings and sense
of fashion. Her nicknames include the "First Lady of Neo-Soul" and the "Queen
of Neo Soul".
As an actress she has appeared in such films as 'Blues Brothers 2000' (1998), 'The Cider House Rules' (1999) and 'House D' (2004).
