David Strathairn
American actor David Strathairn was born January 26th, 1949 in San Francisco, California.
The television and film actor is best known for his roles in such films as "L.A. Confidential" (1997), "Simon Birch" (1998), "Good Night, and Good Luck" (2005), "The Bourne Ultimatum" (2007) and "The Spiderwick Chronicles" (2008) to name just a few.
David won critical acclaimed for his role as CBS newsman Edward R. Murrow in the George Clooney directed biopic "Good Night, and Good Luck". He recieved a Best Actor Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award(SAG), and Academy Award nomination for the role.
