Darren Bent

English footballer Darren Bent was born February 6th, 1984 in Tooting, England.
The striker has played for many top English clubs throughout his career including Ipswich Town, Charlton Athletic, Tottenham Hotspurs and Sunderland. In the 2009-2010 season he had his most prolific season to date scoring 24 goals in 36 appearances for Sunderland. Half way through the 2010/2011 season Bent left Sunderland to join Aston Villa for a club record transfer of £24 million.
In 2010 he was named in the 30 man provisional squad for the South Africa World Cup.
