"Briana Evigan" (born October 23, 1986) is an American actress and dancer. She's best known for her leading role in "Step Up 2: The Streets" as Andie West.

Early life

Evigan was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Pamela C. Serpe, a dancer, model, and actress, and actor Greg Evigan. She is the youngest of three siblings, with brother Jason and sister Vanessa Lee. She has studied dance for nine years. She is also undertaking a speech and communication degree at Los Angeles Valley College.

Career

She made her film debut in 1996's "House of the Damned", where she played the daughter of her real-life father.

In 2003 she appeared in the Linkin Park music video for their single 'Numb'.

She has appeared in the movies "Something Sweet" and "Bottoms Up", and also starred as the main character in 2008's "Step Up 2: The Streets", with Robert Hoffman, Cassie, Adam G. Sevani and Telisha Shaw.

On June 1, 2008, Evigan received a (2008) MTV Movie Award along with co-star Robert Hoffman for 'Best Kiss' in their 2008 movie "Step Up 2: The Streets".

On April 2, 2009, Briana received a 2009 ShoWest Award along with co-stars from Sorority Row for 'Female Star of Tomorrow'.
