English comedian and actor Bill Bailey was born January 13th, 1965 in Bath, Somerset.

Bill is a regular on the UK stand up comedy circuit. He is well known for his appearances on UK television shows "Have I Got News for You", "Never Mind the Buzzcocks", "QI" and "Black Books".

His film credits include "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" (2005), "Hot Fuzz" (2007), "Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang" (2010) and "Burke and Hare" (2010).

In 2010 it was reported that Bailey had auditioned for the role of Gloin in Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit".
