The decorously costumed creatures in 'The Woman in White,' the much-anticipated new musical from Andrew Lloyd Webber, certainly do not. No sooner do they tumble into love — as three of them manage within the first 10 minutes of this swoony, flattening adaptation of Wilkie Collins's classic suspense novel — than crashing, purple waves of song gush from their mouths.
