Alison Moyet
British singer Alison Moyet was born on the 18th of June, 1961 in Essex, England.
She started her musical career as one half of duo Yazoo, the other being Vince Clarke. After deciding to go solo in 1983 Moyet released her debut album, Alf. The album was a big hit in the UK and she went on to release several more albums, though a dispute with her record company led to an eight year legal battle and eventual separation from them. After this Moyet released "Hometime," which was a big success for her.
She continues to record and tour.
