"Adrienne Eliza Bailon" (born October 24, 1983) is an American singer, actor, songwriter, the eldest member of the singing group The Cheetah Girls with Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan, formerly a member of the now disbanded girl group 3LW also with Williams. Her mother is from Puerto Rico and her father is from Ecuador. She is perhaps best known for her role as Chanel in the Disney Channel Original Movie The Cheetah Girls and its sequels
Background
Adrienne Bailon was born on October 24, 1983 in Manhattan, New York to a Puerto Rican mother and an Ecuadorian father. She has an older sister name Claudette. She attended the High School for Health Professions and Human Services in New York, NY. In 1999, she along with Kiely Williams and Naturi Naughton formed the girl group 3LW, which rose to fame in 2001. However in 2002, Naughton left after many heated arguments and catfights with Bailon and Williams. In early 2003, both Bailon and Williams replaced Naughton with Jessica Benson. The newly formed 3LW recorded a third album that wasn't released. 3LW disbanded in 2007 while Kiely and Adrienne joined The Cheetah Girls with Sabrina Bryan. That group was formed thanks to the success of the first movie with movie member Raven Symone.
Relationships
She is currently engaged to Rob Kardashian, This was revealed in the new episode of the E! television show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Rob informed his sisters that he had gotten a tattoo with her name and Adrienne got a tattoo with his name. Rob visited her in India while they were shooting a new movie The Cheetah Girls One World.
TV
Bailon guest starred on the Disney TV show, "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" along with fellow Cheetah girls Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan. Also Bailon appeared in all of the Disney Channel Games (red team). In an interview at the Disney Channel Games, she revealed she could perform a type of ventriloquism, manipulating her voice to make it sound as if it was coming from somewhere else.
