The company of Pacific Overtures will go into the studio on February 1st to record the cast recording for their show.
The show began at Studio 54 on November 12, 2004 and closed on January 30th. The musical starred B.D. Wong.
Pacific Overtures spans 150 years of Japanese westernization following the arrival of Admiral Commodore Perry, and includes such songs as “Chrysanthemum Tea,” “Please Hello,” “Bowler Hat,” and “Someone In a Tree.”
