GAZA (UPI) -- Outgoing World Bank Chief James Wolfensohn met Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia in Ramallah Sunday to discuss coordinating a Gaza pullout.
Wolfensohn was recently named the Quartet Committee's representative in the Middle East to coordinate an expected Israeli withdrawal from Jewish settlements in Gaza and northern West Bank.
Sources close to Qureia said the meeting focused on the current situation in the Palestinian territories, and security reforms and arrangements to restore order in the Gaza Strip.
Wolfensohn met Saturday with Israeli Prime Minister Deputy Shimon Peres in Tel Aviv, Radio Israel reported.
