Five 9-11 detainees boycott Guantanamo hearing

Washington - The five suspects in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks refused to attend a pre-trial hearing in the military tribunals Thursday at Guantanamo Bay. The alleged mastermind of the attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and the other four defendants refused to leave their cells as the hearing was to begin, the Miami Herald reported. The court was convening to hear motions and to begin the process for determining whether two of the suspects, Ramzi bin al-Shibh and Mustafa al-Hawsawi, are sufficiently mentally competent to serve as their own defence lawyers. Hearings have resumed at the remote naval installation on Cuba since President Barack Obama decided in May to try some of the 230 suspects being held at the facility. The decision drew criticism from human-rights activists. Hearings took place on Wednesday in the cases of three other suspects, including Omar Khadr, the so-called 'child soldier' suspected of using a hand grenade to kill a US soldier in 2002. Khadr was 15 years old at the time of the attack. Obama said the revised commissions provide expanded rights to the defendants. The new rules place limits on hearsay evidence and ban information obtained through inhumane interrogation techniques. The accused have expanded rights in selecting their lawyers. Obama has pledged to close Guantanamo by January but has encountered congressional opposition to bringing detainees to the United States for possible incarceration or trial. Congress earlier this year passed legislation banning the transfer of detainees to the United States until at least the end of September. Obama has struggled to find other countries willing to resettle detainees slated for release.

If you knew the English language as well as come across as having a modicum of intelligence. As it is, you fail miserably, SP. Your weakness is in being a drug addict. And a lazy shirker as well. How about this quote from another thread, SP:'I had one class in stats, more than enough for me, and got by woo'ing a young lady who had a real talent for it...among others. That is my experience in it's totality, outside of some Prop, Integral, Derivative program (PID)loops I need about once every four years, and the constant marketing drivel thrust out of every corporate orifice that seems pointed at my desk ( I throw most of it out).'
You couldn't even do a Stats course without pooching it. I guess your former employer found out what you did with paperwork that came across your desk. How are you enjoying being in the unemployment line with all those ethnicities that you just love to hate? Get used to that warm feeling pressed up against your backside, SP, you'll get a lot of it in prison.

That quote re the 'argumentum ad SP4' was on the 'Communist Museum' feature, made in answer to a link to some stats that had been posted.. er, 'semi-anonymously.'

I must confess that sometimes the odd letter, or half a word can go missing when a post is submitted but I've never lost an entire sentence or even a phrase before. I doubt anyone else has either. Unless, of course, they'd omitted to insert it when constructing painfully a readable English post, so it was never there to begin with when they clicked the icon. And who could this poor 'English as a second language student' possibly, possibly be? How can the writer of 'Tot he' know that the semi-anonymous poster of the statistical link is an 'English as a second language student'?

Who can unravel this tantalising drivel (oops) riddle of the real identity of the 'Tot he' poster? SP? Are you as (not) confused as I am?
