This is the man that, to me, epitomizes the liberal manifesto. A man who was in love with his own intellect, who let his ego drive his hubris to the point of believing that his own opinion constituted fact.
He says he was misinformed, but in case after case, by officer after officer, he was told his strategies were useless. Ignoring them, he embarked on his own personal direction of the war, repeatedly ignoring the reports from the field, dragging the Vietnam confict out year after year.
After it was all said and done, he then proceeded to make a pretty penny, apologizing for this mess, but still insinuating he was 'misinformed'.
Hogwash.

...you're running out of insults....god...who knew? Now, try saying something with substance.
