Something's going down... this can't just be strategy. Or maybe it is- stupid strategy for running for another political office. I can just see the remarks 'You couldn't even finish your first term as governor and you want the public to trust you to serve another office faithfully?'

It's been speculated that she will be in the running in the next Presidential election, thus her resigning now to start working on that.
A real comedy of errors in the making.

I hear she's taking time off to enroll in some online foreign policy classes at Univ of Phoenix...

Either she was offered a huge position in the private sector, there's some kind of scandal coming, or she is just fed up w/ being in the spotlight all the time. Only time will tell why. Good luck to you Sarah!

I saw her interview about stepping down, and it was her usual breathless, yammering and not making much sense. It's also been reported lately that she was bordering on hysterical during the elections, having some wonder if she was suffering from postpartum and that she and McCain were definitely not a happy twosome. Hope she does everyone a favor and stays out of public life.

Right now Conan O’Brien, Jon Stewart, David Letterman and ten thousand joke writers are clasping their hands, hoping against hope, ready to squeal like girls at a Jonas Brothers concert; awaiting the announcement that Sarah will be running for president again. With Rush Limbaugh as unofficial spokesperson, this is the last gasp of the Republican Party for a generation.

Love it!

Lord I hope she gets the nomination from now untill the end of time.

There is no better poster girl for the inate stupidity of conservatives and Republicans.

With luck, Sarah will insure a Democrat President for the rest of time.

...let's put that razor-sharp measuRing stck of yours up to the current occupant of the not-so white house:

9.5% unemployment. The stumulus is a failure, by Obama's own measure i.e. his prediction of 8% as the top.

General Motors - this fools errand, costing us, so far in excess of 60$ billion, with no light at the end of this tunnel

Iran giving us the finger

N. Korea giving us the finger

Chavez giving us the finger

$3.4 trillion in new deficit spending, with nothing to show for it.

No professor, this president still has the luxury of didging this mess, but the yardstick is coming and coming fast. At this rate, we should be looking for someone who has more experience and perhaps it's Obama who should enroll in classes, as he's the one in the big chair. Like Sara said:
' the presidency is not supposed to be a journey of self discovery.' 149 days as senator, as we can now plainly see, is not the mark on the yardstick you thought it was.

The audacity of Hope...boy, HE wasn't kidding!

'..let's put that razor-sharp measuRing stck of yours up to the current occupant of the not-so white house:'

Stated like the bigot you are liar.

'9.5% unemployment. The stumulus is a failure, by Obama's own measure i.e. his prediction of 8% as the top.'

The last administrations work, 158 days into the new one is hardly the time to judge, idiot.

'General Motors - this fools errand, costing us, so far in excess of 60$ billion, with no light at the end of this tunnel'

Again caused by your boys, Obama is the one who will fix it and you idiots will still blame him for something.

'Iran giving us the finger'

Like they did for 8 years under the Texas Village Idiot---idiot.

'N. Korea giving us the finger'

Like they did for 8 years under the Texas Village Idiot---idiot.

'Chavez giving us the finger'

Like they did for 8 years under the Texas Villageo idiot---idiot.

'$3.4 trillion in new deficit spending, with nothing to show for it.'

Over 75% left by your Texas Village idiot---idiot.

'No professor, this president still has the luxury of didging this mess, but the yardstick is coming and coming fast. At this rate, we should be looking for someone who has more experience and perhaps it's Obama who should enroll in classes, as he's the one in the big chair. Like Sara said:'

'Sara was a looser when she was chosen and she went out like a looser.

'' the presidency is not supposed to be a journey of self discovery.' 149 days as senator, as we can now plainly see, is not the mark on the yardstick you thought it was.'

Like she would know anything except what she learned on her knees.

'The audacity of Hope...boy, HE wasn't kidding!'

The 'audacity' of you even knowing how to turn on a computer. You are the most stupid nit-wit that has ever posted on this site. The complete and total definition of the Republican party, what you cannot makeup you will lie about to try and make some fool believe you---which has never happened. You are an idiot.

I would rather see Judah Ben Hur Ambassador to the American Republic run for President in 2012 than former governer Palin..who should go back to being a small time mayor. Her ego is bigger than her daughters breasts!!!
