All you have to do is crack down on it hard, but have ridiculously large visa quotas and make them easier to get. I lived among a bunch of illegals for a couple years and almost every one of them didn't want to stay here, but were afraid to go home to early because if they hadn't earned enough money they'd have a real hard time getting back.
But seriously, the website checker for SS#'s is a great idea, and if they're false papers, throw them in jail for a while and ship them home. But this will only work if they have the opportunity to come here legally. people need to stop pissing their pants about foreigners and especially Mexicans 'stealing their jobs.' Almost any job they apply for most Americans wouldn't want to do it or would be qualified enough to have a competitive advantage going for the job.
Throw them in jail at a big cost to the US - smart idea!

I have to completely disagre with you. We have heard that old song and dance argument before (thye do jobs americans won't). Le's just take a look at where they are mostly working. Government estimats 12 million illegals! That is larger than the entier city of New York. My friends with boots on the ground at the Border Patrol say 20-25 million. I would trust them more than he government stats. There are not anywhere near that many agriculture, nanny and toilet cleaning jobs in the country. They are employed in food aprocessing plants all over the country. When the meat packing plant was raided I believe it was in the mid-west the very next day there were over a 1000 americans lined around the block to apply. They are in the train yards across the country, they are in factory assembly lines, they are in all phases on construction, they are in landscaping, technology plants in silicon valley, they are fast food joints and restaurants all over the country where our youth used to be able to get employment. Last I heard these ARE jobs americans will do especially in these hard economic times. We allow more people to come here legaly every year than all the countries of the world combined. It should be a difficult thing to obtain citizenship here. All the ones I know who did it legally appreciate what they went through and are pissed as all hell at the government for slaping them in the face by turning their face the other way while millions storm the gates. If all those jobs wee vacted they WOULD be filled by americans so taxes will still be paid, items purchased in the local economies
Oh yes and I forgot: that $40-$50 Billion being sent to Mexico each and every year would stay here in our economy.

..neocons don't need a source for denying global warming..all they have to do is look at the glaring inconsistancies, gagged info, pseudoscience coming out of NASA, the UN, etc., and ALl the previous predictions that, year after year, never pan out. Kofi SAnnan was the last disingenuous african to perform, with the 300,000 dying from global warming fantasy last month.
As for illegal immigration, we can deal with this anytime we want. Obama, like ALL his predecessors, won't because, after all, the senate leadership gets too many votes from them.
That number comes from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services a government agency. An agency overseen by your messiah Mr. O. So before you go showing what a dufus brain knucklehead you are engage your brain if you can find it or shut up. And besides if you think illegal immigration is so great please place your email address so I can contact you about taking on an illegal family of one mother, no father and 8 kids all of taxpayer welfare.
