This was either a printing error or a journalistic error, because Santa Barbara, California is NOT located in the United States but in MEXICO.
We Mexicans and Chicanos do NOT recognize California as part of the USA, because it was illegally annexed after the Mexican-US border war.
So we ONLY officially accept Santa Barbara, California as part of MEXICO.
