'He noted efforts last week at the Group of 20 (G20)'
(where his call for greater intervention was ignored)

'a NATO summit'
(where his request for more troops was ignored)

'Prague'
(where he was ignored, apart from that toxic midget, Sarkozy of France, telling him to keep his nose out of EU affairs)

'Turkey'
(At least he knows where it is, I suppose. Bush still thinks it's something to do with 'Thanksgiving' dinner)

'With all that is at stake today' .... .. 'common concern'..
'walls of mistrust'.... (zzzzzzzz!)

'we have to find and build on our mutual interests'
(with the French? hahahahahaha!)

'it is only when people come together, and seek common ground, that some of that mistrust can begin to fade'
(Halelujah, Brother! -I thought he was your president, not Billy Graham!)

'a chance to reflect on obligations to others.'
(Like treating your audience as informed adults, perhaps?)

The halo is beginning to slip, I fear.

welcome to M&C, the land of fruitloops and idiots. And those that have fun parodying, lampooning, and puncturing the aforementioned.

You could not be more incorrect in one aspect. Truebrit is neither Dumb, nor Dumber. I guess that you cannot understand the concept of parody.

To @My opinion,

Cheers mate! At least the idiot recognises that SP is the 'dumber' I suppose. Perhaps he could complete the trilogy himself. Dumb, Dumber and, -come on 'My opinion,' you can do it! What comes next?

...well, you can write, but it's just not funny...mostly because it's not very creative. Take my Obama...I was going to do a homeboy version, but he's ten times funnier as an oreo cookie, who is just naive', mostly because it's true about him. Rambling on in jive or any of the other ebonic plaugue-speak is so expected, it's just not funny...sorta like doing the lil' Abner of yours amricans have seen and abandoned generations ago. Maybe Larry the Cableguy can...but not you.

Hillary is only funny when you frame her as her real self, a person so utterly ruthless, and power hungry, she just oozes contempt. Bill's the same way, the doddering philanderer in his retirement, schmoozing his wife for perks.

Bush was the same way, easy to entertain libnazis as stupid, but far more creative to frame him as the real brain,(and enrage them!) with moments of un-clarity like thinking Obama is Irish, all the while succesffuly manipulating those around him who actually WANT to think he's a dummy, idiots like 'Hirrah Reid'. Bush does not say his 'e's which is hilarious.

The lesson here is not to try and make these folks look stupid, they already do that, or, they are not really stupid, but to parody and lampoon them in ways THEY have done to themselves. This is what makes Dana Carvey so funny as Bush one and Will Farrell so unfunny as Bush two.

No, you need a twist truLimey. so stay on it. If I wanted to Lampoon you, I'd just reprint your own stuff, word for word. See the clarity?

Tend to agree with you, SP. Not my best by far. Overcontrived, and it does not flow at all. Trouble is, I just tapped it out, and you've given me little handle to work with lately anyway. Add to that the fact that I too am conservative by nature (that is to say, a realist), though in my own case a thinking one, and that when I read your piece at the top of this page I laughed like a drain for 10 minutes, and I must confess that my heart wasn't really in it. The 'Para' piece I did last month though is a different matter. On that occasion, my Daemon condescended to glance over my shoulder. Pure co-incidence I'm sure but you kept quiet for days.

Your comments on Hillary are the most incisive I've ever heard you make. It's the overt, almost inhuman lust for power. It may be because they drool, but were I a cartoonist I would caricature her as one of the creatures from the 'Alien' movies.

Consult a Dictionary. In your case it may be as well to start with 'The Cat in The Hat' You'll find it somewhere between 'Befuddled' and 'Dimwit.'
