Since nearly the beginning of 2008, certain events have been unfolding, events that have gone nearly completely ignored by all mainstream media, but that constitute bona-fide, reportable, and ESSENTIAL NEWS. It is now apparent, sufficient for all to see without dispute, the extent to which our nation's 'mainstream' news media has utterly failed Democracy. Regardless of the multi-dimensional outcome of this developing story, it is the news media that will be *soundly indicted* by this nation's citizenry.

This developing story is one for the history books. Picture the very worst-case scenario that could befall the political and social life of this nation, and by repurcussion the entire world, and you will probably think Abu Ghraib; bogus WMD; 9/11; the assassination of JFK. The scenario that you will not even imagine, and what may very well be materializing, is the complete disrepute of the popularly-elected Barack Obama, and the seemingly sudden derailing of that promise of the coming 'Change' for the course of this nation, and by complicity the complete fall from grace of the Democratic Party.

This is not about political leanings, or about partisan politics. This is about the very real and present danger of a global socio-political/economic calamity resulting from one very poor decision made by one man, Mr. Barack Obama, a decision that he has ALREADY made and ALREADY acted upon by virtue of resistance and inaction, a decision which perhaps he even made before he became a Senator of the state of Illinois.

What the mainstream media has not told you is that there has been, for the last several months, a growing, substantive crescendo in the form of legal filings to 1) have affirmed that, regardless of where he was born, Barack Obama is NOT and can never be a U.S. *Natural-born* citizen, and 2) compel Mr. Obama to produce an actual, certified, long-form vault copy of his original Birth Certificate, claimed to be filed with the State of Hawai'i, to prove he is even just a U.S. 'Native-born' citizen to begin with.

When the second case (Cort Wrotnowski vs Bysiewicz, Connecticut Secretary of State) was distributed by HON. Justice Antonin Scalia for a full conference (private, as occurred with Donofrio's case on December 5th), which took place on Friday, December 12th, it was the same day, Monday, December 8th, that the U.S. media sensationalized the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) decision not to hear Donofrio's case to the point of misconstruing that decision to mean that the SCOTUS Justices had affirmed Barack Obama's eligibility to be President of the United States.

Cort Wrotnowski submitted on December 9th a Supplemental brief to SCOTUS with evidentiary material substantiating the fraud and deceit perpetrated by the 21st U.S. President Chester A. Arthur -- to wit, his having lied, before becoming Vice-President on James Garfield's presidential ticket, about his family history, specifically about the date his father, William Arthur, had become a naturalized U.S. citizen, which on December 6th was proven by Leo C. Donofrio, Esq. to have been nearly (14) fourteen years AFTER Chester A. Arthur's birth, conferring dual citizenship upon Chester A. Arthur at his birth, possibly rendering him a U.S. 'Native-born' citizen (dubious, considering then-existent laws) but DEFINITELY NOT a U.S. NATURAL-BORN citizen, and therefore ineligible to become either President or Vice-President of the United States.

By virtue of what Barack Obama has already admitted on his 'FighttheSmears.com' website which is that dual citizenship (U.K. and U.S.) was conferred upon him at birth because his father was a citizen of a foreign power, NO birthing document whatsoever is necessary to prove or disprove the special 'Natural-born' category of U.S. citizen status of Barack Obama. At birth, he is automatically *NOT* a U.S. *NATURAL-BORN* citizen, and can never gain it, regardless of where he was born.

The only claim that could stand to be verified/confirmed by way of birthing documentation is the claim that he is a U.S. 'Native-born' citizen; that is, that he was born on U.S. soil (land under U.S. jurisdiction) and therefore a citizen of the U.S.

The Donofrio and Wrotnowski cases were banked on the fact that for probably most of the first three quarters of this nation's history the understanding of the meaning of the 'Natural-born' category of U.S. citizenship was commonplace. It is only in the post-World-Wars era that this commonplace understanding began to slip away from the nation's collective consciousness, until, in this age of reactionary attitude toward egregious government behavior, beginning in earnest with the assassination of JFK, Americans have increasingly put all things civic out of mind out of disdain and disgust. It is within this atmosphere of widespread disinterest in how our system of government is constituted that abuse and corruption can find root. This is evidenced by the fact that over the last few months hardly anyone immediately understood that 'Natural-born' and 'Native-born' were NOT interchangeable terms.

That said, a Birth Certificate IS NOT the same as a 'Certifica-*tion* of Live Birth.' The Certification of Live Birth is NOT a document that is acceptable for nearly all critical purposes as formal proof of original nationality (country of 'natural birth'). A secondary point to bear in mind is that, in Hawai'i, an actual 'Birth Certificate' is referred to using the words, 'Certificate of Live Birth.' This 'long-form,' 'vault' Certificate of Live Birth, as it is the Birth Certificate, displays much more information surrounding the birth, such as hospital name, doctor's name and signature, weight, height, and in some areas even a footprint. However, Hawai'i may issue a certified 'Certifica-tion of Live Birth' as merely an abbreviated report of an actual 'Certificate of Live Birth.'

The Obama Campaign posted, on the 'FighttheSmears' webpage, a 'Certifica-tion of Live Birth' on June 13, 2008, calling it a Birth Certificate. It is not. It represents the abbreviated report that, when having a certifying embossment, may serve official purposes of a non-critical nature. On the document posted on the FighttheSmears.com website, however, there appears no certifying embossment, no signature, and the Certificate No. (which would refer back to the actual and as-yet unpublished 'Certificate of Live Birth' document) is blackened out. It is reported by Hawaiian state officials that the official certifying embossment, the date-stamp, and signature customarily appear on the reverse side of these abbreviated 'Certification of Live Birth' reports. There is a faint mark on the online scan of the Certification of Live Birth posted on the FighttheSmears page possibly indicating the existence of a date-stamp on the reverse side of the scanned paper document. On scanning other such documents, however, invariably the certifying embossment is discernible, albeit to varying degrees, regardless of the side of the document that is scanned. If there does exist a certifying stamp on the reverse side of the Certification of Live Birth on the Obama 'FighttheSmears.com' webpage, it does not appear to be embossed.

The U.S. media has further withheld from us the fact that registration within the state of Hawai'i of a child's birth occuring outside of the United States to U.S. citizens meeting minimum Hawai'i state residency requirements was permitted at the time of Barack Obama's birth. There is a chance that Barack Obama's original, 'Vault' long-form birth certificate shows that his birthplace was outside of the United States.

On November 1st, Hawai'i state officials confirmed that the Certification of Live Birth posted on Obama's campaign site, 'Fightthesmears.com,' IS NOT the actual 'long-form' Certificate of Live Birth (Birth Certificate), but rather an example of the state's issuance of the abbreviated report known as a 'Certifica-tion of Live Birth.' They confirmed also that there is on file a typewritten Certificate of Live Birth (actual 'Birth Certificate'), but they keep its contents private. They DID NOT AFFIRM that Obama was, in fact, born in Hawai'i. The U.S. media did that!


Meanwhile, on November 22nd, 2008, arguments were published allegedly proving that Obama's 'Certifica-tion of Live Birth' posted on his 'FighttheSmears.com' webpage is a forgery. However, whether or not it is a forgery is moot. This abbreviated report simply is not equivalent to a 'Birth Certificate' at all.

Yet also moot is the fact that the document posted on the 'FighttheSmears.com' website is not the 'long-form' Certificate of Live Birth, as the issue that was and may still yet be in front of the nine U.S. Supreme Court Justices was the question of the affirmation of the long-understood meaning of U.S. 'Natural-born' citizen status, which in Barack Obama's case no longer stands in need of being proved or disproved. If anything is to be proved or disproved via a 'long-form' Birth Certificate, it is his U.S. 'Native-born' citizenship status (birth on U.S. soil). A Certificate of Live Birth, by itself, does not prove U.S. 'Natural-born' citizenship status. If proof of U.S. 'Natural-born' citizenship status indeed must be provided, the documentation that would do that is -- *both together* -- the 'long-form' Birth Certificate (Certificate of Live Birth), showing hospital name, doctor's name, etc, proving the child's birth on U.S. soil, *AND* documentation proving the U.S. citizenship status of the *father* at the time of the child's birth. The child would then be proven to be BOTH a U.S. 'Native-born' citizen AND a U.S. 'Natural-born' citizen.

The two cases, Donofrio's and Wrotnowski's, were not denied by SCOTUS because the Supreme Court Justices cleared Obama as eligible. The cases were asking SCOTUS to find that the lower state supreme courts SHOULD COMPEL the Secretaries of the states of Connecticut and New Jersey to actually DO THEIR JOB which is to VETT all the candidates (determine their eligibility), ideally before they are placed in front of us in the voting booth. Election officials of the states of Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, and Washington did vett one Roger Calero, and refused to list him on the ballot since, for having been born in Nicaragua, he is not a U.S. Natural-born citizen as required by the U.S. Constitution. However, the Supreme Court Justices, WITHOUT COMMENT, declined to so compel the Secretaries of states to ACT.

Despite all biased media reports to the contrary, to this day Barack Obama has not proven his U.S. 'Native-born' citizenship (birth on U.S. soil). Despite all display of confidence, Barack Obama is struggling against becoming known, and the U.S. media is complicit in his effort.

The media has not informed us of the following:

The U.S. media has further not informed us that Barack Obama's actual and current citizenship status may well be Indonesian, if there was no legal naturalization process undertaken either at age 18 or when he returned to live with his American grandparents in 1971 after having lived four years with his step-father in Indonesia, which required that he relinquish all previous national ties. If he used an Indonesian passport to go to Pakistan in 1981, when Pakistan was off-limits to all but high-ranking government officials, he would have effectively renounced any American citizenship.

How can we as an American Society now proceed with life while under threat of socio-political and economic calamity should Barack Obama not be legally prevented from taking the office of the U.S. President? How can we proceed with life when we may not trust ANY informational sources to be impartial, do the required investigational reporting, and give us ALL the facts? Is the Democracy of the ideal to be relegated to reliance upon 'underground' scraps from the courageous but so-called 'fringe' internet news sites, which, for all their variable 'right-wing' bent, turn out to be more observant of free speech than the overall U.S. 'mainstream' media? How can we presume to set an example among the fledgling democracies of the world when it appears that the U.S. media as well as the entire Democratic Party and even much of the Republican party are poised and ready to allow this utter trampling of the U.S. Constitution?

Someday Americans will be able to more clearly look back at these times and discern the great disservice that this nation's media has done to the welfare of our Constitutional Republic in the short run. Yet, in the long run it will be the full recognition of the stark nature of this period of journalistic prostitution that will serve eventually to catapult our evolving Democracy into its inevitable future.

If the U.S. Supreme Court Justices finally and fully refuse to grasp the baton of destiny repeatedly extended to them, this nation will have to endure great social dysfunction over a transitional period of indefinite duration while we await a more enlightened time when it is widely recognized and accepted that expediency is not a valid substitute for truth and the constitutional rule of law.

was that Barak Obama will, hopefully, be a good President of the US in the same as G.W.Bush was a bad President of the US. He can't be any worse.

First off, as of now, the man has next to no power. Sure, the media pays attention to him, but that's about it. The change he heralds is not only coming from him, his election brings the promise of an America where EVERYONE has an input into the political environment, an America which has sadly dissapeared in the last several administrations.

I have to agree with 'It must...' above.
He's pretended to be the acting president on several occasions throughout the past year, but hasn't accomplished anything by it.
The only real accomplishment I can see was that he raised an obscene amount of money for his campaign. Enough to buy the election. The political forecasters that I had been reading were predicting back in 2006 that experience, education, ability, etc, wouldn't mean a thing in the 2008 elections. The winner was going to be whoever had the most money. They were right.
He'll be an historic president by virtue of the fact that he's the first black man to be elected to that position. Maybe that's what TIME really had in mind.
Barring any unseen catastrophe, he will become our next president in another month or so. I didn't vote for Obama, and I'm glad I didn't. But I am willing to give the man the chance to prove himself. We've had young presidents in our past history that did okay. If Congress can keep his extreme left-wing liberal philosophies out of the office, he may just turn out alright.

The changes Obama Heralds is:

1) Seal All his records about his life (Be Secretive and Paranoid)
2) Ignore complaints about his violation of the Constitution (NBC)
3) Create A Cabinet with Tired Old Familiar Faces (Clinton really?)
4) Expand the War in Afganistan (which was already planned)
5) Ignore Complaints from Gay's re Rick Warren.
6) Pretend no connection with his former supporters - (Blagovich)

And all that before he is even selected by the EC. Wow I really can't wait for this man to be President. I give him 3 months before the MSM gives up on this man being the Messiah.
